Bypass Mail Filtering at the University of Waterloo

Most mail servers at the University of Waterloo use publicly available blacklists to filter incoming mail to reduce the amount of junk mail each user receives.
If you believe your mail server is erroneously on a "spammers" or "open relay" blacklist, you can temporarily exempt your mail server from the blacklist check, and allow every piece of mail from your server to users at the University of Waterloo to bypass these filters.*
Enter your email address and the IP address of your mail server in the spaces to the right,
then request a code to temporarily bypass filtering. You will receive your code by email, and will need to enter it along with your email and mail server addresses in this form.

*All mail originating from your mail server's IP address will be exempted from the University of Waterloo's filtering for a period of 4 days. During this time, your system administrator should make arrangements to remove your mail server from any open relay lists (use http://www.google.ca/search?q=dns++blacklist+check+dnsbl to see if your mail server is in any of the commonly used lists of known spam sources and open mail relays).

**If for some reason your server cannot be removed from open relay lists within 4 days, your system administrator should contact postmaster@uwaterloo.ca to arrange for a longer-term exemption from mail blacklisting.
